Sun Wukong, also known as the Monkey King, is best known as the main character in the 16th-century Chinese novel Journey to the West. He had acquired the 72 transformations, which gave him 72 unique powers, including supernatural strength and the ability to transform into animals and objects. Bao De Gong Temple had 72 figurines custom-made in China, representing the transformations. The figurines were sponsored by devotee Angeline Gan and awarded the record on 4 Apr 2025.
