To promote teamwork among the pupils and in conjunction with the school’s 80th anniversary, all the pupils of CHIJ St Nicholas Girls’ School (Primary) came together to form the Chinese words ‘I love St Nicholas’ from coloured slips of paper. The pupils wrote down why they were proud to be a St Nicholas Girl on the slips. The five colours were that of the school’s four houses and the anniversary’s pink theme. A total of 1,344 pupils contributed to this 7.3m by 1.0m board which was measured on 7 Oct 2013.
