Driven by his father’s cancer battle, 50-year-old Dr Herman Teo walked 412.41 km from Combat Base, Kuala Lumpur to SingPost Centre in Singapore. Aptly titled ‘Walk for Papa’, he began on 16 Nov and finished on 24 Nov 2024 to raise funds for cancer patients. The 9-day journey of the fitness coach was made more challenging as he went without food and subsisted only on water.
