Pow Yui Hua (also known as Yui Pow Redford) has visited all 193 sovereign countries officially recognised by the United Nations. Her journeys took place over a period of almost 17 years, beginning in 2000 and culminating with the feat being achieved in the Democratic Republic of the Congo in Jul 2017, aged 37. She has also visited both UN observer states, as well as a number of autonomous countries that are non-members of the UN. Currently based in London, UK, her extensive travels stem from her global background, deep interest in culture, and profession as a consultant, educator, and writer. She is also the first Asian woman to have visited every sovereign state in the world.
