Two years ago, after helping his older brother to check the pi digits as he recited them from memory, Pragyan Arya Ravulaparthi decided to take on the challenge himself. On 25 Jun 2024, Pragyan, at 8 years 11 months, was able to recite 3,501 pi digits. This was the most ever achieved by a child in Singapore. The United World College student’s parents are Ravi Ravulaparthi and Tejaswini.
