MindChamps, an early childhood education provider, hosted a three-day family carnival at the Singapore Expo from 6 Oct 2017. At the event, sticky notes were arranged to form the event theme: ‘I’m Proud Of You’ which measured 4.8m by 1.4m. Parents at the event were asked to write words of encouragement on the slips.

Largest Display Of Lanterns Made Of Parking Coupons

Redhill Gardens Residents’ Committee members collected and made 298 lanterns out of used parking coupons, using 8 coupons per lantern. Redhill Mall was decorated with the lanterns as residents celebrated Mid-Autumn Festival and had a karaoke competition on 30 Sep 2017.  The record also serves as a memorial as it won’t be long before parking coupons get phased out.

33 women motorcycle riders started from Our Tampines Hub in the morning. After biking to Westgate in Jurong, 32 ended about 6 hours later at Toa Payoh Hub.The event on 30 Sep 2017 was to launch the Breast Cancer Awareness Month, organised by Singapore Cancer Society. At the Spuds and Aprons restaurant on Faber Peak Singapore, Oktoberfest means unlimited food and beer. To facilitate the latter, the in-house F&B team built a beer tower using a barrel and an acrylic cylinder, with the contents sponsored by Tiger Beer. The 2.9m tall tower was unveiled on 6 Oct 2017.
