In 2012, Naval Base Secondary School students and staff, together with the support of the school advisory committee, parents, alumni and Nee Soon South residents took part in the making of a ceramic mosaic art installation measuring 63.6m by 1.85m. Largest Plate Of Rojak
The NUS Eusoff Hall kickstarted its 60th anniversary celebrations with a meaningful record attempt. To reflect the diversity of the residents and their ability to blend as one, the hall challenged the local rojak record. 104 kg of cucumber, pineapple, mango, apple, youtiao, sauce and roasted peanuts were mixed and served to the students and staff in the dining hall on 6 Apr 2017. Singapore’s longest blow-up waterslide on sloping Biopolis Way was installed in conjunction with the launch of Redoxon Triple Action vitamin. Largest LEGO Chinese New Year Display
People Association’s Brick Art Interest Group members spent many hours to create a Lego display on four pieces of wooden boards which had a combined measurement of 8m by 2m. Most Electrical Energy Generated By Stationary Bikes In One Hour
256 cyclists taking turns on 6 stationary bikes generated a total of 142 watt-hour of electrical power during the Earth Hour when power supply was partially cut in Star Vista. Earth Hour has been celebrated in Singapore since 2009 and on 25 Mar 2017, the mall (under the CapitaLand group) marked the event alongside its Disney Tsum Tsum promotion. Read More »
