The Tote Board Group, which includes Singapore Pools and Singapore Turf Club, organised a carnival to celebrate SG50 as well as to bring joy to beneficiaries from several welfare homes on 4 Jun 2015. Other than enjoying the xinyao and getai performances, participants also cherished traditional games from yesteryears. 508 people also took part in a mass fan dance.

Orchard Central’s Car Boot Carnival is on from 29 May to 9 Jul 2015. On display are 14 vintage Volkswagen Beetles and Kombis overflowing with interesting and eclectic merchandise. The vehicles were from 1955 to 1974. The bazaar takes up a 86.2m by 12.1m space on the ground level.
