Youngest Recording Artistes

Five-year old twins, Shai Sidhanth and Shai Vaedhaanth Parasuraman recorded their first music CD, ‘Uni5 Rhymes’ and was awarded the record on 20 Jan 2021. The CD contains 8 songs composed by their father, Parasu. The K1 boys have been taking lessons in Carnatic music, a South Indian classical form. They will soon work on their video single.

201 teams of 4 cyclists took part in this exercise scheme organised by Tampines West CSC and Our Tampines Hub. The 804 participants had to cycle at least 800 km cumulatively from 24 Oct to 14 Nov 2020 and were monitored online. A total of 101 participants took part in the Zoom record attempt organised by The Singapore Association for the Deaf (SADeaf) on 17 Jan 2021. Most of them signed from their homes to the song ‘Reaching out for the Skies’. SADeaf had earlier organised a remote song signing with 55 participants to celebrate Singapore’s 55th National Day.
