To celebrate World Water Day on 24 Mar 2012, PUB collaborated with Anderson Secondary School to build a floating raft using more than 2,000 used drink cans. The raft, measuring 4.33m (length) by 1.04m (width) by 0.6m (height), floated on Punggol Reservoir with the help of a boat which pulled it for about 30m from the side.

Staff, students and volunteers of AWWA School rolled up squashed pages of used magazines and stuck the paper balls on a thick plastic sheet to form a mosaic depicting a growing seedling.
