Largest Mass Lion Dance Cai Qing Performance

Visitors to Gardens by the Bay were treated to a very colourful sight on 21 Feb 2015. PM Lee Hsien Loong joined Bishan residents to form a SG50 logo human formation on 31 Jan 2015. A total of 3,050 participants carried red and white umbrellas at Ang Mo Kio-Bishan Park and went through some open-and-close patterns that made the logo look lively. Longest Dragon Made Of Plastic Flowers

The 50m long dragon, created by Bukit Panjang CC as part of its celebrations for Singapore’s Golden Jubilee, was built using 1,000 plastic sunflowers. Residents penned their birthday wishes for Singapore on 800 badges before they were glued onto the sunflowers. On 25 Jan 2015, the IAEC of Cheng San-Seletar celebrated the pongal festival as well as SG50 by creating a fragrant rangoli using Indian spices at the CC hall prior to a cultural show held there. The 4.1m by 2.5m rangoli used turmeric, fennel, fenugreek, pepper, cloves, cardamom, cinnamon, coriander, red chilli and star anise.
