Children from the Thye Hua Kwan Moral Society Child & Student Care Centres and their parents gathered at Palawan Beach, Sentosa, on 6 Feb 2017. There, they helped to arrange 12,888 oranges into the 福 (prosper) Chinese character measuring 18m by 18m. The oranges were later donated to charity organisations. Read More »

18 ladies from the Tian Eng Dragon and Lion Dance Centre put up Singapore’s largest performance of phoenix dance at Gardens by the Bay on 1 Feb 2017. Most Number Of People Making Knotted Rings Together
For the first time, all pupils from Nan Chiau Primary School and Nan Chiau High School came together to engage in a similar activity. 3,398 students used red strings to craft knots on a triple-ring which resembles their school logo. Largest Rangoli Made Of Coloured Rice
Tanglin Community Club celebrated Pongalo Ponggal, an Indian harvest festival, on 21 Jan 2017. Other than the usual tradition of rice boiling, there was a huge 10m-diameter rangoli made of rice.
