Customers of SCS butter were invited to participate in the mass pineapple tart Bake-Out at the Allspice Institute in Bukit Merah. 4 baking sessions were held on the 2 weekends ahead of Chinese New Year. Kitchen Aid sponsored some baking equipment. On 23 Jan 2017, 25,120 tarts were arranged to form the Chinese word for ‘properity’ at Bishan CC to fit the auspicious 88 sqm (9.35m by 9.4m). The tarts were later distributed to needy families in the Bishan area.
