Largest Kite Covered With Pledges

The inaugural Mother’s Day Charity Fun Walk at Marina Barrage on 13 May 2018 was organised by Mediacorp. Participants collected their walk packs at the Bedok Point roadshow a week earlier before the event. At the mall, 261 participants signed their ‘Love Mum’ pledges on a 4m-by-3.5m kite, which fluttered in the sky during the walk.

Absolutely Halal Global provides an e-commerce platform connecting Muslim merchants with their suppliers and consumers. It organised an international expo showcasing food, fashion and entertainment at F1 Pit Building on 10-13 May 2018. Displayed at the venue was a tall donation box which measured 6.8m by 1.2m and 1.2m. The money collected would go to the Children’s Cancer Foundation.

On 3 Aug 2003, Vijayalakshmi Mohan broke the Guinness record by single-handedly creating a rangoli of size 52 ft by 53 ft or 2,756 sq ft (256 sq m) in 7 hr without any breaks. Rangoli is a form of Indian decoration that uses finely ground white powder and colours. The feat was carried out at the Whampoa Community Club.
