District East Mosques (under MUIS) held its family day at Al-Ansar Mosque on 27 Sep 2025. Prior to the event, nearly 600 supplications written on Post-It notes were collected from Muslims and stuck on a board. The secondary four cohort of Tanjong Katong Secondary School had its 15th year of record-breaking on 26 Sep 2025. The students of each class had to cross a 20m ‘river’ by picking and throwing an alternate wooden block in front of them and stepping on them. At Tampines Changkat CC’s Bulan Bahasa, the community came together for an afternoon of music and cultural activities. The new Fragrance Castle Experience Centre was set up by Raxsan Pte Ltd on 10 Sep 2025 at Jurong West Ave 5. It has a continuous wall of 614 different perfumes measuring 8.13m by 3.60m.
