NParks started constructing the Park Connector Network 30 years ago to let Singaporeans enjoy more of the outdoors. Todate it has completed 360 km. Ultrawalker Raymond Tan, 48, took up the challenge to walk every km of the PCN routes covering all 6 loops from 23 May to 5 June 2021. In the 5 days he walked a total distance of 421.14 km to set the record, including making many u-turns as the routes are often branching rather than in close loops. In the last 8 months, Raymond had also walked along all of Singapore MRT & LRT Lines, and in a single stage, did a 160-km walk around Singapore.
