Largest Lantern Wall

Kwong Wai Shiu Hospital is a 108-year-old charitable healthcare organisation, committed to looking after the sick and needy. It celebrated the lantern festival on 7 Sep 2019 by hanging strings of paper lanterns along the corridor of one of its conserved buildings. Excluding the space taken up by the pillars, the lantern wall was 28.5m long and 1.9m high. The lanterns were painted by the hospital’s residents and volunteers.
