Visitors stepped into a spectacular and surreal world of chocolate fountains, floating cotton candy and a chocolate zoo at Fantasia by Escriba. The confectionery theatre extravaganza came to life at the Marina Bay Sands on 22-24 Aug 2014. Renowned Barcelona-based pastry couple, Christian Escriba and Patricia Schmidt, put together the larger-than-life masterpieces made from sweets and other confectioneries and a beautiful spread of sweet and savory treats. The grandest piece on display was the Callebaut Falls which would be submitted to Guinness for the world’s tallest chocolate fountain record. With a cascade of four tons of molten chocolate, it was 8.53m high and 5.44m wide.
