A 12.8m-tall Christmas tree was lighted up at UBS’s Appreciation Night held at Hotel Fort Canning on 29 Nov 2019. Cycling Without Age Singapore connects senior citizens with the community and helps them beat social isolation by giving free trishaw rides. On 15 Nov 2019, 161 seniors from various nursing homes and eldercare centres were brought down to Sentosa Cove to enjoy rides on 10 trishaws owned by the charity. The first recycling drive organised by the Singapore Youth Group of Rajayoga Power Transcendental Meditation Society brought in 3.5 tons of recyclable waste products, among them 10,590 plastic bottles.
