Junyuan Secondary School officially opened its indoor sports hall on 11 Jul 2015. To mark the occasion, 959 students, teachers, parents and guests showed their sportsmanship by playing kendama together. On 7 Jun 2015 at Changi Simei Community Club Open House, residents put together 1,406 push cakes together to form an SG50 logo which measured 2.3m in diameter. FMC Technologies celebrated its 40th anniversary on 22 May 2015 by hosting a lunch for its 3,000 staff at Suntec Convention Centre. Like a usual birthday party, everyone was invited to sing the ‘Happy Birthday’ song before the cake-cutting ceremony.
