Most Number Of People Making Roti Prata Together

Bukit Panjang CC organised its 11th Pongal Festival for its residents near Pending LRT station on 21 Jan 2018. At the event, 75 people tried their hands at making prata by kneading, folding and stretching the pre-mixed dough. Later, the residents were treated to pratas and other vegetarian food for lunch.

Tallest Christmas Tree Made Of Bottled Plants

Some Punggol East residents spent three months to grow plants in cut plastic bottles. The plants needed no watering as the improvised pots had wicks and enclosed water reservoirs. 1,628 bottled plants were arranged on a wooden layered structure to form a 3.7m Christmas tree. Located at Rivervale Crescent, the tree was officially lighted up on 16 Dec 2017.

Most Number Of People Painting Ceramic Tiles Together

Residents in the constituency gathered at Eunos CC on 9 Dec 2017 to get a taste of Peranakan culture. One of the activities organised was colouring ceramic tiles with pre-drawn outlines of Peranakan motifs. A total of 583 people were counted to have taken part.

Nirvana Fitness is a blend of pilates and yoga with functional movements and rhythmic breathing, accompanied by uplifting music. On 18 Nov 2017, after completing a 3-km fund-raising walk organised by Joo Chiat CCC, 201 people proceeded to a mass Nirvana Fitness workout at East Coast Park.

Largest Mass Walk With Umbrellas

Joo Chiat CCC organised FairPrice Walk For Rice 2017 at East Coast Park on 18 Nov 2017. Umbrellas were provided for the 436 participants in the 3km walk starting from Angsana Green. For every 200m walked, NTUC FairPrice would donate a bowl of white rice and a bowl of brown rice to a needy family.
