Nine migrant engineers from India working here wanted to celebrate SG61 by building a commemorative sculpture. They collected discarded boxes and spent several evenings cutting and pasting the pieces together to create the display measuring 6.7m by 2.4m by 1.2m. It was erected at City Square Mall, well-known for its sustainability drive, on 3 Aug 2026. The effort was led by Janani Mourougane, who had achieved a record in the previous year.
