Kia Niro Hybrid (1.6-l) owners formed teams of up to 3 drivers to see which team could achieve the furthest distance travelled in a single tank in 48 hours from 18 to 20 Apr 2025. Of the 25 participating teams, the winning car driven by Mathew Yap Shi Wei, Lucas Ooi Han Jie and Lek Keng Hang achieved a stunning 1,552 km on a single 42-litre tank. This works out to 37 km/litre, the most fuel-efficient ever seen on an unmodified car in Singapore.
