Senior volunteers came down to Tzu Chi Seniors Engagement & Enabling Node (SEEN) at Bukit Batok to cut and fold used packaging materials into strips. These were then weaved to create an ‘SG59’ artwork to commemorate Singapore’s independence. The completed 1.2m-by-1.8m display was unveiled at the centre on 13 Aug 2024.
