On 4 Jun 2017, the Yew Tee community celebrated Parents’ Day instead of  separate days for mothers and fathers. At the dinner at Yew Tee Hardcourt, residents were taught how to use drinking straws to make hearts which they can give to their parents. 718 people participated.
