The Girls’ Brigade Singapore celebrated its 90th anniversary in Methodist Girls’ School on 18 Mar 2017. 1,455 officers and students from the Brigade were set to sew the biggest fabric art in Singapore. For 9 minutes, they stitched small pieces of cloth together. Although more work is needed to complete the mammoth artwork, the synchronised sewing is symbolic of all working side-by-side towards a common goal.
