The Lions Clubs of Singapore organised ‘Reflection and Appreciation Day’ at the Changi Exhibition Centre on 28 Jun 2015. They invited and bused thousands of the needy elderly for lunch with stage performances of many old songs. Also to mark the dumpling festival which occurred a week earlier, 4,132 participants took part in the simulated wrapping of Chinese dumplings using paper strips which resemble the customary bamboo leaves.
