Since 2011, Edgefield Secondary School introduced taekwondo to all students. On 6 Mar 2015, row by row of students, dressed in taekwondo uniforms, kicked the boards held by the adjacent rows with most of them breaking into pieces. A total of 1,135 students participated in the event organised by Nestle Koko Krunch and the Singapore Taekwondo Federation.
