Marking its 55th anniversary, the Insurance and Financial Practitioners Association of Singapore (IFPAS) organised webinars and talks on the importance of Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) – that is appointing a trusted individual to make decisions on their behalf should they lose mental capacity. On 18 Aug 2024, 1,113 LPAs were certified at the Toa Payoh West CC, witnessed by doctors and lawyers. This brought the total number arranged by IFPAS to 3,472.
