Swimming legend Ang Peng Siong learned to swim at the Farrer Park Swimming Complex and later used the venue for his APS Swim School. When the pool has to be closed for redevelopment, he decided to gather all his trainees and alumni for a grand last swim on 9 Aug 2022. With about 270 swimmers, they broke the current record achieving 26,512 laps in 6 hr.
