On 8 Mar 2025, the first day of Ramadan Bazaar@Nee Soon, the grassroots advisors of the Nee Soon GRC helped to grill the hundreds of pulut panggang which were served to visitors. The grilling was done on a 9.2m line of BBQ stoves at the bazaar organised by Yishun Central Merchant Association outside Yishun MRT station. The dish is a Malay aromatic glutinous rice roll cooked in coconut milk and wrapped in banana leaves.
