For its HS Spirit Day, Hougang Secondary School allocated one hour for the entire school to play hopscotch on 9 Jul 2019. It rained a little earlier, so instead of the parade square, the students drew the diagrams in the classrooms and took turns to jump from square to square. Largest Display Of Origami Horses

The 21st Singapore Artillery, with its Iron Horse icon, celebrated its 49th anniversary with 300 personnel folding and pasting origami horses to form the batallion’s name and crest on a banner. They also competed to make horse sculptures from old newspapers. 4,900 origamis were completed on a 6.0m x 1.45m PVC banner on 5 Jul 2019 at Kranji Camp II.

The rustic environment complemented its display of historical snippets, Teochew opera and models acting as Raffles and Sultan Hussein.
