World’s Longest Human Centipede
NTU students broke the world record for the longest human centipede on 29 Jul 2005 at Bishan Park. 1,601 participants had their ankles tied to the ankles of those next to them and the centipede successfully crawled more than 30m. Read More »
Largest Display Of Origami Orchids
Woodgrove constituency celebrated Racial Harmony and Community Sports Day at Woodlands Mega Sports Park on 23 Jul 2017. The event saw an art installation of 10,000 multi-coloured origami orchids hung from a metal scaffolding. The different colours were to represent the multi-racial society in Singapore. World’s Longest Table
500 people dined at the longest table that broke the world record. Race Course Road was closed on 23 Jul 2011 to accommodate the 0.9m by 160.0m table, constructed as a single continuous piece by staff of Seagull Marine and Yusen Design & Contract. The event was part of the Food Festival organised by the Indian Restaurants Association (Singapore). Read More »
Largest Human Formation Of Radial Stripes
On 16 Jul 2017, Nanyang constituency organised a 52nd National Day Observance Ceremony at Jurong West Street 91. 1,896 residents, including students from the neighbouring schools, Juying, Pioneer, Xingnan and West Grove Primary Schools, and Juying Secondary School, stood to form the Largest Human Formation of Radial Stripes in red and white resembling a birthday cake in celebration of National Day. Longest Dog Walk Line
