World’s Largest Limbo Dance

1,208 staff and children from Global EduHub Pte Ltd danced and went under the pole to the rhythm of Limbo Rock song in ITE ­College West on 1 Oct 2011, achieving a Guinness record. The height for the bar for adults was set at 1m and for the children it was 0.8m.

World’s Longest Lego Millipede

Many primary school students joined hands to break the world record when they constructed a 1,410m long millipede with 2,946 legs. It was formed with 2,891,626 pieces of Lego bricks on 15 Dec 2004. The event was organised by Lego and participating primary schools at Robinson’s Christmas Village in the Singapore Expo.

3,594 participants took part in the National Healthy Lifestyle Campaign at Sentosa on 5 Sep 2004, from 10am to 4pm. In addition to BMI checks, participants were also given a body fat analysis, bone mass density test, blood pressure checks and dental screenings.

Largest Word Formation Made Of Shoes

Students of Fajar Secondary School went from house to house to collect more than 1,000 pairs of gently used shoes for its Sole4Souls charity drive. They were sorted and grouped into different colours, and on 30 Aug 2017, 700 pairs formed the words ‘Walk The Talk’ in the school hall. The 18m by 3m word display was also to mark Teachers’ Day.

Longest Tandem Breastfeeding For A Mother

Joewe Koh has been breastfeeding her children from birth, her daughter Summer from Feb 2012 and son Isaac since Jul 2013. As at 14 Aug 2017, Summer is 5 and half years and Isaac is 4. The mother estimated that the daughter is breastfed about 100 times a week, while her son about 200 times a week.
