Changi Simei CC YEC members came up with an interesting idea to mark 9 Aug 2014. They used about 2,300 red and white angkukuehs to form a Singapore flag measuring 2.7m by 3.3m. Arranging the sticky kuehs was no mean feat as volunteers had to remove the banana leaves stuck underneath each kueh. The flag was displayed at the CC and was shown on video during the National Day Parade live screening at Simei Plaza.
