Muhammadiyah Welfare Home organises an annual carnival to raise funds for its Home. Held at its premises on 31 May 2014, the Fiesta 2014’s most unusual group activity was having 100 people pounding belacan, a traditional spicy condiment. Led by Speaker of Parliament, Mdm Halimah Yacob, the participants enjoyed building up the knocking rhythm and filling the air with belacan aroma.
