On 14 Feb 2014, 480 students, teachers and parent volunteers of Ping Yi Secondary School walked one km around the running track of Bedok Stadium in a single file, holding one another’s shoulders. Calling it a Valentine’s Walk, the record attempt was part of the school’s Sports Meet and also to promote affiliation and teamwork among students. It was also to celebrate the school’s 30th anniversary.
