Filmgarde Cineplexes celebrated its sixth anniversary with the largest box of popcorn since the latter is often associated with movie-watching. Standing in front of Bugis+, the 2.2m by 1.1m by 0.82m box held close to 4,000 packets of popcorn. After the record verification on 14 Dec 2013, the popcorn was distributed to shoppers going into the the busy mall. Other than Bugis+, Filmgarde has another cineplex at Leisure Park Kallang.
