The Girls’ Brigade’s Friend in Deed is a charitable project to reach vulnerable Singaporeans. Together with New Hope Community Services, the event on 9 May 2024 saw the girls and community volunteers baking cookies for these Singaporeans. A total of 242 people helped in kneading and shaping the cookies at the Kampung Siglap Lifeskills Centre. It was First Lady Jane Ittogi’s inaugural event with the GB after becoming the uniformed group’s new Patron.
