The Yew Tee community celebrated National Day with a walk-and-jog on the morning of 9 Aug 2013. Before that, 353 participants took part in a mass performance of the popular Gwiyomi, meaning ‘cute’ in Korean. The K-pop single by South Korean singer Hari (released in early 2013) became a viral success. The event was organised by the Yew Tee FLC, WEC and CSC.
