Blossom World Society organised a Parents’ Day at the Marina Barrage on 2 Jun 2013. A thousand people turned up for this meaningful event to honour their parents. The programme was planned to revisit filial piety. Cups of tea were provided and the emcees exhorted participants to kneel and serve their parents holding the cups with both hands. Later 330 participated in the feet washing ceremony. Later some people told us this is the first time they touched their parent’s feet.
