Sentosa Flowers Festival was held at Palawan Beach in Feb 2013. Amidst the huge splendour of flowers and other colourful displays, was a long sand snake designed by Tan Joo Heng, Singapore’s only full-time sand sculptor who has won many international sand sculpture awards. Over 200 volunteers helped to build this 168m long snake, the most colourful sand sculpture ever witnessed by SBOR. The coils of the snake formed the words: 2013 fu (prosperity in Chinese).
