A week earlier the new Punggol Safra had its soft opening. On 30 Apr 2016, some less privileged NSman and their families were invited to the clubhouse to enjoy the new facilities. They also put the finishing touches to the 3m by 7m mural that comic artist Tan Kwang Yang had been working on. 32 people, including children and their parents squeezed into the mural with their brushes to be part of the record.
