The Chiam See Tong Sports Foundation was launched in Mar 2017, and organised its second fundraiser ‘Splash for Singapore’ on 30 Dec 2017 at Toa Payoh Swimming Complex. A highlight of the event was when 203 swimmers were counted to have treaded water together for five minutes. Participants were mainly from APS Swim School, Ace Swim Club and Pacer Water Polo Academy. After the record feat, ex-MP Chiam See Tong himself handed out cheques to Cheryl Teo, a national sailor from Singapore Sailing Federation and Muhammad Adam Bin Adnan Jalil, a secondary 2 rugby player from Damai Secondary School.
