Eunos Community Club celebrated its 30th Anniversary on 18 Aug 2013. While the CC’s interest groups put on many performances, visitors to the open house chipped in to make bunga manggar, the Malay’s traditional colourful palm blossoms used for weddings and festivals. A total of 218 people from all races wrapped the glittering paper around thin sticks sliced from coconut fronds. These sticks were later stuck on polyfoam cores and held high by poles.
