Largest Barefoot Race

Clementi Town Secondary School organised its annual cross-country run at Japanese Garden on 5 Aug 2015. 1,085 participants ran 200m barefoot before completing the 3.3-km route with their shoes on. The barefoot run was to remind everyone that there are many living in poverty and cannot afford shoes. In the previous months, the school collected more than 500 pairs of shoes to be donated to the needy.
