Ryan Soon Hao Ran, at 6 years 7 months, broke the round Singapore cycling record, completing a distance of 128.9 km together with his parents, Benjamin and Valarie. It took them 13 hr 36 min to achieve the feat on a rainy 1 June 2024. Ryan started cycling at 2 with a balance bike and upgraded to a 16-inch bicycle without training wheels at 4 years. He is a P1 boy from Fairfield Methodist School (Primary).
