Chefs from Hotel Jen Orchardgateway managed to build a 3.1m tall ice kachang in the open-air area at level 10 on 5 Aug 2015. The event was the hotel’s way to celebrate Singapore’s Golden Jubilee and at the same time to raise funds for Cerebral Palsy Alliance Singapore. Led by the hotel’s chef de cuisine, Lee Hoong Wan, 4,000 kg of ice was used.
