The Bone Marrow Donor Programme needs lots of donors as the chance of finding a bone marrow match is very slim. To reach out to more people, it organised a football-themed ‘Match For Life’ at Our Tampines Hub on 12 Oct 2019. At the event, 200 participants were in pairs and tossed footballs to each other for 5 mins. The ball toss action represented how a donor passes on hope to a patient by being a match for a transplant.
