International Accountants Day on 7 Nov 2013 was not just the largest gathering of accountants in Singapore but also a gathering of book donors. 1,005 participants brought along at least one book to donate towards underprivileged kids. Some people came with suitcases of books. At the Lawn@MarinaBay, over 2,000 accountants and finance professionals also got to enjoy live music, games, competitions and catching up with old friends. The event was organised by CPA Australia, Singapore Accountancy Commission, and Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants.
